What horses have taught me:
It’s okay to slow down and live in the moment! My head is constantly filled with thoughts of what’s coming next and what needs to be done, but when I’m working with horses I’m able to let go of that and instead live in the moment and focus on the horse and our work together. Building a partnership with a horse by learning how they communicate and “listening” to what they have to say is a very rewarding experience. I always know I’m going to feel better both physically and mentally after a visit to the barn!
