Boarding at Our Dexter Farm
We offer horse boarding at our Dexter farm, currently available to a limited number of horse owners alongside our coaching programs.
Our horses live outside as close to 24/7 as possible, with stalling available when medically needed — several of our herd are metabolic and split time inside during spring through fall. Turnout is in a small, quiet herd setting with mares and geldings kept separate, shelters in every pasture, and 24/7 hay and forage. We offer a soaked forage-based feeding program; owners are welcome to bring their own grain at their own cost.
Facilities include an indoor space and a grass outdoor work area (no trails), plus plenty of obstacles. Indoor access is available during farm hours, 9am–9pm.
Please note: Happy Hooves is not a lesson barn. Our program sessions are private, and the farm stays quiet and low-traffic by design — a good fit for owners who value that same calm, low-key environment for their horse.
Because of the populations we serve through our coaching programs, fit matters — for the horse, the owner, and our herd. Board starts at $575/month (basic); stall board, private paddocks, and additional services are available on a case-by-case basis.
